For Sale/To Let sign FAQ's

Do I really need a sign?
You do if you want your property to sell or let faster. Estate Agent’s have reported that over a half of all interest they receive about a property comes from a “For Sale” or “To Let” board ! They offer high quality, very low cost local exposure meaning you can market your property privately to an even wider audience with no need to go through an agent and save £1000’s on commission.
What size is my Sign?
Your sign will be 610mm x 813mm, the maximum legal size in the UK .
What size will my “Sold” or ”Let” slip be?
Your Sold or Let slip will be 610 mm X 120 mm and will be of matching quality, font & colour.
What Format will my sign be?
Your sign will be in portrait format of a “Flag” Style. Some Local Authorities will ask you to remove a board if attached to a property wall in landscape format as it protrudes too far apparently and contravenes planning regulations.
How is my sign made?
The two printed sheets of your correx board will be heat welded together with the latest heat welding equipment and manually tested to ensure they'll withstand pressure, giving you at least two years trouble free display in the most demanding of situations.
How is my boards bonded together?
The boards are heat welded together to avoid any risk of 'splitting'.
How long will my sign last?
The sign is manufactured for outside use and will withstand most UK weather conditions. You should expect a two-year life span under normal conditions.
What text will be on my sign?
Take a look below at the For Sale/To Let signs we offer (click for enlargement).
These signs have been specifically designed to be striking and eye catching to draw attention to best promote your property.
The sign will be shipped with your telephone number displayed on the sign using quality matching vinyl stickers. The rationale behind this is that after you have used the sign to sell/let your property you can easily remove the numbers and keep the sign to use again, or pass it onto a friend, relative or colleague.
What do I get with my sign ?
Along with the sign and attached telephone number you will also get a matching sold/let slip included in the price.
How do I display my new Sign?
To display your sign you may need one or the other of the following 5cm x 5cm posts (depending on your requirements) and fixing components.

We do not supply Posts and fixings; these will be readily available in timber/hardware/D.I.Y. shops for a minimal cost.
We do not offer Posts and Fittings due to the considerable expense that unfortunately would inevitably be passed on to you as a result of our purchasing, handling, manufacturing, packaging and postage costs.
Do I have to use posts to display my sign?
No, you can affix the sign on/to any part of the property you are advertising i.e. to a fence, gate or tree (As long as it doesn’t contravene local laws and/or planning regulations and/or cause nuisance and irritation to neighbours/others)
You could display the sign in a window in flats etc where it is not an option to erect/attach a post.
* Remember, the more prominent the sign the more interest it will generate.
How much does the Sign cost?
Each individually prepared quality sign is available for just £24.99 inclusive of postage and packing.
Can I buy more than one sign?
Yes, no problem, you can order as many signs as you like.
Why would I need more than one sign?
Apart from selling/letting more than one property sometimes having a sign outside your property and one on a main road (if yours is set away or hidden from a main road) can generate significantly more interest and potential sales.
Do I get a discount if I buy more than one sign?
Yes, we will deduct £5 from every additional sign you order (so every additional sign will be £19.99).
* We will only facilitate a discount if multiple signs are ordered at the same time.
* Please note that as the total weight of the package increases, the postal delivery charge may rise to the next appropriate tariff (what ever that may be at the time).
Can I order signs with different numbers on each of them?
It’s your sign, we can display any numbers you wish, but obviously, there will only be enough room for one phone number per sign face.
What forms of Postal Service do you use?
We use Recorded 1st Class which requires a signature if for delivery in UK
* For shipment outside of UK please contact us for Delivery details and Rates
Will it be the same as an Estate Agent’s sign?
Yes, our boards are manufactured and printed by the very same company who provide many of the other boards you see on the high street.
Why not get my own sign printed?
